Learning how to read supplement labels

As I explored different nutritional supplements, I had to learn a lot about how to read supplement labels. It can be very confusing reading labels, understanding what you’re reading and comparing different supplements. I have learned a lot over the past several months about how to read supplement labels. I’ll list some basic points here, but recommend that you contact me for details on a great site to visit for help in reading labels.

#1 – Learn what the DV (daily value) of a vitamin is.

#2 – Understand the differences between crystalline, synthetic and natural – and why we should avoid synthetic vitamins.

#3 – Learn about the different types of minerals contained in supplements.

#4 – Understand herbs.

#5 – Research enzymes and the importance of the enzymes being contained in a capsule or powder form.

#6 – Learn about probiotics.

#7 – Learn how to choose supplements being careful that you supply your body only with the nutrients your body needs – nothing more.

#8 – Look for supplements that insure cellular delivery.

I hope you find this information helpful and would love to hear your comments about this.
